Behind the numbers
Usage at King & Bathurst and Richview. Managed appointments include cancellations, no-shows and already-created future bookings. Customers are approximate deduplicated booking contacts, including staff-assisted bookings. Groomers are enabled profiles with appointments. These figures are a dated snapshot.

01Two people want the same slot.
Availability checks need to hold when a booking is written. Firestore transactions enforce scheduling constraints across customer and staff booking flows.
02A payment event arrives twice.
Stripe deposits use signature-verified webhooks, duplicate-booking safeguards and idempotent refunds to account for retries and booking conflicts.
03The right data, for the right store.
Server-side membership, role and location checks scope access for customers, groomers and managers. Automated authorization-policy tests check those boundaries.
